We live on a 3 acre lifestyle block of land 32km south of Whakatane. We are close to the Te Urewera National Park. On our land we have 6 Wiltshire sheep as well as ducks, geese and many fruit trees, an organic vegetable garden. We are also trying to establish a small wilderness area in native plants. The little village of Waimana is 2km from where we live. The Waimana river is good for swimming, kayaking and trout fishing. Work includes helping in the house, garden work and firewood. We like to have lots of fun and include you as part of our family and also like to take people walking in the hills. We are also establishing a forested area for "Shinrin yoku" forest bathing for rest and relaxation. If you enjoy good food and wine, you are welcome.
